“Tell Us Who You Are!”
The season of Lent will begin with Ash Wednesday,
March 1. As in previous years we observe this season of repentance with worship
services on Wednesdays as well as Sundays. Wednesday services are at 5 & 7
p.m. (both services are identical) - we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and the
imposition of ashes at the Ash Wednesday services. Our theme takes us through a
number of places in the Gospel according to St. John – who do Jesus and those
around Him say that He is? Who do we say Jesus is through our lives?
Pastor Alex Duff – Installation Service
Mark your calendars for a day of rejoicing and celebration!
We will celebrate the arrival of Pastor Alex and Meri Duff with Installation
Service on Sunday, April 9 at 3:00 p.m. We thank God for their arrival so we
can participate together in this service of praise and thanksgiving.
Are you interested in becoming a member of Suburban
Bethlehem Lutheran Church? Would you like to refresh your memory about the
basics of the Christian faith? The next round of “Growing Disciples” – a Bible
Study that looks at the primary teachings of the Christian faith – will begin
on Thursday, March 16 at 7:oo p.m. in Room 106.
Sunday Morning – Bible Study
“He Chose the Nails.” This is a companion piece to
the study in December (“Because of Christmas”). We will journey through the
love of Jesus for us and how our lives now - and our eternity - is different
because “He Chose the Nails.” This class meets at 9:30 a.m. in the School
Commons each Sunday.
Pastor Bill Mueller facilitates.
Sunday Morning Family Bible Study
Do Actions speak
louder to your spouse than words? Maybe he needs affirmation, while she needs
quality time. Improve your relationships by discovering your “Love Language”. Your
FFPN team will present “The 5 Love Languages” by Gary Chapman, on Sunday at
9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in Room 106.
Are you interested in getting together
with other mothers who have preschool aged children? Then consider joining
MOPs. MOPs is a place where mothers can come together to experience authentic
community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope. MOPs stands for
Mothers of Preschoolers, a program led by moms with children ages 0-5 years
old. These women all have the shared desire to be the best mothers they can be.
We will be meeting every 2nd and 4th Friday of
the month from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Contact Elizabeth Johnston 260-223-1139, Sarah Bowen 260-602-6448 or
