SBLC Installs New Organ

July 30th marked a special day in the history of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School. On this day, a new 3 manual Rodgers Infinity 361 digital organ was dedicated to the Glory of God. After months of anticipation, the new organ was delivered and installed beginning July 23rd and was finished later that week. The church’s old organ, an Allen computer organ, was installed when the Sanctuary was built in 1979 and was at the beginning stages of needing expensive repair. In October of 2016, through connections with the organ dealer, a sizeable donation was made to the church to expedite the purchase of the new organ. The church plans to hold a special series of concerts and recitals through the year, including a Dedication Recital and Workshop by the concert organist, Dan Miller, on October 21st and 22nd. The old church organ was donated to New Hope Lutheran Church in Ossian, Indiana as their old organ terminated due to a lightning strike.  It was installed August 3rd and was dedicated on Sunday August 6th.

Women’s 7@7 at 7:00 pm. All ladies of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran church are invited to attend our 7@7 meeting on Tuesday evening, November 7th, at Hall's Guesthouse 1313 West Washington Center Rd. at 7:00 p.m.
